Meet our Care Team
We are a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and survivors dedicated to support you on your survivorship journey

Physician
Dr. Chasse Bailey-Dorton, MD
My mission is to provide reliable information for someone with a cancer diagnosis, being treated for cancer, recovering from treatment, seeking cancer recurrence risk reduction strategies, or at high risk for cancer. Also to provide reliable information about a variety of topics from nutrition, exercise, sleep, supplements, healthy aging/longevity, and integrative medicine. As I learn more, you learn more!

Nutrition Coach
Cheryl Hoover
My mission is to help you find the pharmacy in your kitchen. I am that rare pharmacist that wants to keep you away from the supplement aisles and instead wants you to actually eat your vitamins, (and minerals and fiber and probiotics too). I want to encourage you to embrace the opportunity you have to nourish your body for your best health and healing.

Wellness Coach
Cheryl Lecroy
My mission is to create a recipe for a vibrant colorful life by blending together the Pillars of Health; nutrition, sleep, community connection, exercise, and stress management. Harmonizing these essential Pillars will inspire well-being, resiliency, and vitality. My focus centers on addressing the many things we can control through survivorship in the quest for a fulfilling existence.

Therapist
Dr. Diane Benfield, LCSW
My mission is to help you SHARE and EXPLORE suffering in a safe and warm therapeutic relationship. DISCOVER and UNCOVER unexpected emotional strength, practical support, and ways of coping. DEVELOP personal and relational growth, deepen spiritual experiences, and reach for life-giving connection to others. CULTIVATE gratitude for each new day, hope for tomorrow, peace of mind, acceptance of what cannot be changed, and new meaning and purpose in life after cancer.

Physician
Dr. Maria Cayelli, MD
My goal is to partner with you on your journey to achieve optimal health and wellness. I can assist you in exploring the best of modern medicine as well as evidence-based complementary therapies to empower you with individualized medicine. I provide comprehensive integrative care for the whole family that address underlying imbalances in the body.

Dr. Tommy Bischoff, LMFT
My hope is to collaborate with you in achieving your goals. I provide a safe, empathic space in which we can process, explore, and learn ways to improve your life, relationships, and overall wellbeing. Cancer evokes many feelings and thoughts, and therapy is a great place to work through this challenging experience.

Yoga Instructor
Kathy Therber
I am a trusted and respected professional with a robust and successful career as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist for over 20 years. I have had the chance to teach yoga to people with cancer, cancer survivors and caregivers, and veterans. I have taught in medical studies, wellness organizations, and fitness centers. To this day, yoga remains an essential part of my life as I work to stay active, healthy, and pain-free. The stress relief and restorative nature of yoga continues to help me every single day since my Stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis.

Tai Chi Instructor, Qi Gong Instructor, Yoga Instructor
Marie Theriault
The prevalence of cancer in my family is what led me to study different styles of exercise that would be beneficial to someone who is living with cancer. It is my greatest joy to share this knowledge with anyone who is searching for exercise that is safe, effective, and appropriate for their specific needs.

I’ve been surrounded by cancer my whole life. Seeing my mother, aunt, cousins, and grandmother live through cancer gave me the drive to change my diet and lifestyle to reduce my risk. Cancer prevention is a huge motivation in my life, just like I know it is in yours. We’ll work together to take a holistic look at your health and wellness, and you’ll gain clarity on your goals as you chart a new path forward. I’ll be there throughout your journey to be your advocate and provide you with accountability and support.
