My experience
Experience
Katie has been a physical therapist for almost 20 years. She provides quality, holistic care in a warm, caring environment, treating each client as her own family. She started her private PT practice, Queen City PYT, combining physical therapy and yoga in 2015. After overcoming her own chronic pain she learned how to teach others to change their brain in order to unlearn their pain. She worked at Carolinas Medical Center prior to that as lead physical therapist with all populations and has also worked at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Crosdaile Retirement Community. Katie especially loves helping people to thrive after a cancer diagnosis.

I have been to physical therapists before and I have done yoga for years, but the way that Katie combines her expertise and experience with both of these makes for a unique and wonderful experience in healing. Katie offers more than any other physical therapist I have encountered and it has been a delight to be under her care.
